87 New COVID-19 Cases in Ky, 2,048 Total. Kroger’s First Day of Testing A Success

Governor Andy Beshear announced today at his daily Coronavirus Press Conference that there were 87 new cases of COVID-19 in the Commonwealth today, bringing the total to 2,048.
There were 3 new cases in Fayette County, 3 new in Fayette County, 2 in Woodford County and 1 each in Franklin, Jefferson, and Madison.
There were 7 new deaths in the state today, bringing our total to 104. To honor those that have died from COVID-19, The Governor has asked that the state’s flags fly at Half-Mast from now until next Monday.
The Governor also said today’s Drive-Through Testing partnership with Kroger started today with 97 people being tested today. They hope to raise it to 250 per day, per site for a total of 20,000 tests. To get registered for the test, there are some qualifiers.

The Fairgrounds in Louisville has 250 beds ready for occupancy thanks to the National Guard.
