Today at Governor Andy Beshear’s daily Press Conference for the Coronavirus there were 161 new cases of Coronavirus reported in the state today, bringing our total to 3,481. Of those 1,115 have ever been in the Hospital for Coronavirus and there are 302 now Hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 510 Kentuckians in the ICU for Coronavirus and 163 in the ICU with Coronavirus.
There have been 1, 335 Kentuckians that have recovered from Coronavirus. Three have been 42,844 Kentuckians tested for Coronavirus.
The testing partnership with Kroger continues with Day 3 of testing at 4 sites. In Madisonville, there were 300 tests conducted today and a 3-Day total of 747 tests. In Paducah there were 221 tests today, bringing the 3-day total to 521. In Somerset, there were 212 tests conducted today and a 3-day total of 671, and Pikeville tested 276 today with a 3-Day total of 683. That is 2,622 new tests.
On Monday 2 more sites will open in Louisville and in Lexington, at the BCTC Campus at 500 Newtown Pike. They will both be open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Those tests will be open to all people. 2 other locations will open from Tuesday through Thursday in Owensboro and in Bowling Green. These sites will be open from 8:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
