Governor Andy Beshear said today at his daily Coronavirus Press Conference that there were 202 new cases of COVID-19 in the State, bringing the total infections in the state to 4,074. Of those, there were 3 new cases in Fayette County, 2 new cases in Madison, 1 new in Jessamine, Anderson, and Scott Counties.
That makes 48,474 Total tests in the Commonwealth. There have been 1,274 ever Hospitalized with COVID-19, of those there are 30 in now. There have been 608 total people ever in the ICU with COVID-19, there are 166 in the ICU now with COVID-19. 1,511 have recovered.
Kentucky will start to reopen Healthcare in the State tomorrow with the first step in multiple phases that will go on slowly over the next few weeks.
These are for Non-Urgent/Emergent processes, Health Care Services, Diagnosis, Radiology, and Lab Services. These will include Hospital Outpatient, Health Care Clinics & Medical Offices, Physical Therapy Settings, Chiropractic offices, Optometrists, and Dental offices (with enhanced aerosol protection).
