Governor Andy Beshear today at his daily Coronavirus Press Conference said that there were 87 New cases of COVID-19 in the state reported today, bringing the total to 4,146 Positives in the State. There was 1 Probable COVID-19 Positive today.
There were 48,799 tests for Coronavirus in the state. Of those, there have been 1,281 ever in the Hospital and there are 313 in the Hospital today with COVID-19. There have been 612 Kentuckians in the ICU with Coronavirus, there are 165 in now. There have been 1,521 Kentuckians recovered.
There were 5 new deaths reported in the state today, including a 73-year old Male from Fayette County.

Over the next few weeks, some businesses will open on a staggered schedule with each week phasing in more businesses. They’ll start on May 11th and Open more businesses on May 18th, Nay 25th, and June 1st.
Starting May 11 All must wear facemasks (Cloth, not necessarily N-95 masks, save those for the Healthcare workers.) when going outside or to the store.
There are 11 sites for Testing open or opening this week. The location in Lexington tested 286 people today and the site in Louisville tested 256. Bowling Green and Owensboro open tomorrow and more across the state. The information is here.
