177 New COVID-19 Cases in Ky, Total 4,879. Testing Update

There were 177 New cases of COVID-19 in the Commonwealth today, bringing the total of people infected with Coronavirus to 4,879.
There have been 57,648 total tests for Coronavirus in the Commonwealth. Of those there are 1,411 Kentuckians in the Hospital ever with the virus, now there are 334. There have been 652 Kentuckians ever in the ICU with COVID-19 and there are now 178 Kentuckians in the ICU with COVID-19. There have been 1,752 recovered.
The state reported 8 new deaths related to Coronavirus.
Testing:
Finished the first week of testing at the 4 Kroger Partnership sites.
Louisville has tested 1,457, Lexington has tested 1,612, Bowling Green 1,125, and Owensboro tested 934. That is over 5,178 tests.
Next week, Testing will continue in the Kroger Partnership with sites continuing in Lexington, Louisville, and Bowling Green. These sites will test Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Ashland opens up their site on Tuesday – Thursday.
As far as with Walgreen’s Testing in Lexington there were 848 tests conducted in Lexington this week.
There will be no update tomorrow as the Governor will take a break for a day.
