Governor Andy Beshear said in today’s press conference that there were 245 new cases of COVID-19 in the Commonwealth today, bringing the total of infected Kentuckians to 11,708.
There have been 287,597 Kentuckians who have been tested for Coronavirus, of those there have been 2,386 ever in the Hospital with COVID-19, there are 525 in now. There have been 966 Kentuckians every in the ICU with COZVID-19, there are 75 in now.
There have been 3,365 Kentuckians who have recovered from COVID-19.
There were 5 new Deaths announced today, bringing the total in the state to 477.
The Governor also announced that All Industries (Retail, restaurants, etc.) who have been operating for 1 month under 30% capacity, may move to 50% capacity after new guidelines have been set.
The Kentucky State Fair has submitted a proposal to open in the Summer at the Fairgrounds. They will NOT be able to use the portion of the Fairgrounds where the Field Hospital is located.
