69 New COVID-19 Cases in Ky, Total at 11,945

At Governor Andy Beshear’s daily press briefing he said that there was a backlog in the Federal Reporting System that caused a number of results that should have been counted today to be in tomorrow’s briefing. These numbers are significantly lower.
There were 69 new cases of COVID-19 in the Commonwealth announced today, which brings the total in State to 11,945.
There have been 308,786 Kentuckians that have been tested for Coronavirus, of those there have been 2,406 ever in the Hospital with COVID-19, there are 514 in now. There have ever been 967 Kentuckians in the ICU with COVID-19, there are 81 in now.
There have been 3,379 Kentuckians that have recovered from Coronavirus.
There were 9 deaths in the state announced today, bringing the Statewide total to 493.
The Governor has asked the State Historic Properties Committee to discuss removing the Jefferson Davis statue out of the Capitol Rotunda.
