GE Appliances will increase the production of Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Dryers, and Washers in Kentucky. This will create 260 new jobs and it is a $62 Million investment in GE Appliance Park
Ferally Corp is a Steel Processing plant that will open in Ghent, KY in October of 2020 with 30 New Jobs and a $17.5 Million investment.
A Budget Update on the Road Fund: A predicted $161.8 Million shortfall in the Road Fund. It is actually $100 million LESS! New road projects will start soon.
Unemployment Insurance: In-Person service locations will open next week in Covington, Prestonsburg, and Frankfort. Go to KCC.Ky.gov to sign up.
The state is increasing CARES Act funding to local Health Departments. He’s giving them an additional $36.2 Million to Support Health Departments.
