New Steps to fight Coronavirus in Kentucky:
1: Travel Advisory: If you travel to a state with over a 15% positivity rate, you must self-quarantine for 14 days before going back to normal activities. Right now, those states that have a higher than 15% positivity rate are Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Idaho, Texas, Florida, Nevada, and Mississippi.
2: Gatherings of fewer than 50 people go back to Gatherings with fewer than 10 people. (Not in businesses, this is for homes and private gatherings.)
Unemployment Insurance: There are 23,000 claims that are ready for their final approval from the State.
Meetings for Unemployment Insurance will be in Frankfort ONLY this week, due to trying to get these claims processed as soon as possible.
