Kentucky to Cut Mask Mandates in 1 Month

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said the state will “return to normal” and full capacity everywhere and fully lift its Mask Mandate on June 11th, ending more than 1 year after COVID-19 restrictions were placed on the state.
Beshear is waiting for the month to pass to have those 12-15 year olds to get vaccinated. That group was given the go ahead to use the Pfizer vaccine earlier this week.
This follows the news on Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control to forgo the wearing of masks and social distancing measures for fully Vaccinated people in the state for most indoor and outdoor venues. Excluding Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and correctional facilities as well as Public Transportation.
Masks will still be required in schools (K-12), pre-schools and other child care settings.
Businesses will still have the option of demanding Masks inside and people shopping at the Grocery stores may be reluctant to leave the masks at home.
