Downtown Lexington Venues Lighting Up The Town This Week With Memorial Events

LEXINGTON, KY (March 4, 2024) – Get ready Lexington! From March 4 – 10, Lexington’s trio of OVG360 managed venues will be bringing a total of 100,000 people to downtown Lexington. Rupp Arena, Lexington Opera House, and Central Bank Center are set to dazzle everyone with a variety of experiences and events. From country to comedy to classic rock to comic con, Central Bank Center has an event for every fan to experience in Central Kentucky!

The Lexington Opera House will be hosting 6 different shows over the 7 day period starting out with Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live on Monday, March 4th.  Other shows throughout the week include Swan Lake, The Cancelled Podcast, Post Modern Jukebox – The ‘10’ Tour, Paula Poundstone and Golden Girls: The Laugh Continues.

The Central Bank Center is hosting the annual Lexington Comic & Toy Convention which is expected to bring nearly 30,000+ total attendees over the 4 day stretch. Celebrity guests include Barbara Eden from “I Dream of Jeanie”, James Van Der Beek, and Steve Guttenberg. Several cast members from the television series “Charmed”, “Arrow”, and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” will also be in attendance as well as wrestlers and other famous celebrities. Rupp Arena will host Vanderbilt for the last home game of the UK Men’s Basketball season on Wednesday. Riley Green will perform his “Ain’t My Last Rodeo” tour on Friday and then Drake with J.Cole will be taking the stage on Sunday.
