At Governor Andy Beshear’s daily Press Conference on the Coronavirus, he said that there were 159 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total in the state to 5,934.
There have been 78,603 Kentuckians tested for COVID-19, of those 1,616 have ever been in the Hospital with COVID-19, there are 351 people now in the Hospital with COVID-19. There have been 693 Kentuckians in the ICU with COVID-19, there are 190 Kentuckians in the ICU with COVID-19.
There have been 2,125 Kentuckians recovered from Coronavirus.
There were 8 new deaths announced in the state today.
TESTING:
Testing continues at the 19 sites across the state. The Lexington Kroger partnership had 365 people tested today, the Louisville site tested 228.
There will be new sites opening in Corbin and Elizabethtown opening Tuesday – Thursday and the Lexington and Louisville sites will continue their drive-through testing next Monday – Friday.
The testing sites will also be giving out cloth Masks and Hand Sanitizer.
